I can easily change him to a warrior if need be.
➸THE rainyday➸ LORD SAOLA It has been 3 days so I wanted to make sure you guys saw this.
Tall is an understatement when talking about Silverstorm. Long legs which end in tiny paws help the tom to rival the old stories of Tigerstar's height, although this tom is quite a bit more lean than the dark warrior in the stories. A triangular head and long neck lead into narrow shoulders and a long spine hits equally narrow hips before fading into a long tail that nearly drags the ground when he walks. Stretched over the lithe frame of Silverstorm is lean muscle which hides a hidden strength that can only be seen in the way they ripple below his pelt.
Adorned with large, bat-like ears, Silver's triangular head and face have a very interesting beginning. Just below his ears, on a sloping forehead, rest two large eyes. The deep green irises are round and very human in shape, giving him an almost alien look when viewed at the right angle. The tom's long, narrow muzzle doesn't help his exotic look as it ends in a tiny black nose-pad and makes him look just a little bit like weasel. While handsome when pulled together, it's no surprise that individual features would look odd on any other cat.
Stretched over this tom's lean figure is a beautiful silver and white pelt which is accented by dark, roughly outlined spots on his back, shoulder, and haunches while stripes adorn all four legs and the tom's sloping forehead. The white part of his undercoat is most obvious around the tom's face and neck where it covers his muzzle and wraps around the thin neck and fades into the silver-gray elsewhere. The undersides of each paw are the same dark color as his stripes, giving the top a sock-like look around his feet. Long and silky, Silverstorm's pelt is feathery in look despite it's thickness and water repellant properties.
While he can hold a grudge for seasons, Silverstorm isn't a violent cat and would rather make any distaste known verbally of through body language. Fights are things he would rather avoid and this silver-tongued tom is very good at talking his way out of conflicts when needed. Disciplinary methods that he uses are often work-based as opposed to physical punishments and every apprentice quickly finds out that Silverstorm is very good at finding difficult jobs for apprentices to do when they are in trouble.
Time is not a thing that effects this tom. He is rarely bothered by waiting and believes that many jobs that take time are done better without rushing. Silver has a high thresh-hold for his temper and is difficult to anger, feeding into his Gentle nature as well. It takes this tom far longer than it probably should for him to become impatient and some cats may see his willingness to wait patiently as laziness from time to time despite it's often positive results.
For this tom, thinking and Acting are one and the same. He will not do anything without making sure that he has predicted as many outcomes as is viable. Strategy is something that Silverstorm excels at and uses well when talking doesn't calm a conflict. His logical mind makes him both more fair and a bit less caring toward certain situations as he will often scold other cats for not thinking their decisions all the way through to the end to make sure it would work.
Using his silver tongue to chase the ladies is probably not the best choice, but Silverstorm can't resist telling she-cats how beautiful and worthy they are. He enjoys the feeling of seeing them smile and will often do anything he is asked if it cheers up a female. His tail-chasing makes him venerable to manipulation from time to time, but it has never effected his loyalty and never will. Thankfully, he sticks to flirting with she-cats in his own clan.
Unfortunately, changing this tom's mind isn't easy. Once a decision is made, no matter the consequence, he sticks it through to then end. While this can be a good thing in that he doesn't go back on anything he says, it is also terrible as new variables don't change how he thinks and can sometimes cause injuries or lives depending on the choice he makes. His clan can depend on him, but they can also expect his stubbornness to get them in trouble from time to time.
First impressions are everything with Silverstorm and are very difficult to change. He is a cat who judges on appearances and first words, and is often very hard to impress. Cats from other clans have a hard time getting on Silver's good side, and outside cats more so. Expecting this tom to welcome an appearance from another clan's patrol or a rogue asking to audience is foolish and any cats who give a bad first impression can expect a very negative reception.
A silver tongue and a sharp mind makes getting what he wants easy for the spitted tabby tom. He is very good at saying the right things and pulling others' thoughts in his direction. Silver can be very convincing and a cat like him is dangerous if he gets too ambitious. While he's never used his abilities for darker purposes, he will sometimes talk a she-cat into spending more time than she should with him or an apprentice into doing extra chores to make life easier on himself.
Being on Silverstorm's bad side is never a good thing. While he doesn't often get violent, the tom does know how to use his word to make your life as horrible as possible and he isn't afraid to do it. Grudges made with Silver last for seasons and he sometimes gives cats that he has bad blood with extra duties or chores. He can, and has, spread rumors that ruin reputations and break apart families when angry and rarely apologizes. With how hard it is to anger him, any cat on his bad side deserved to be there a long time ago.
Born in his parents' third litter, Silverstorm was a surprise to the older couple who believed that the she-cat was too old to be able to have kits. Thankful to have only one kit in her last litter, Silverstorm's mother did her best to care for the young kit, but her age made keeping up with a young tom very difficult. It wasn't unusual for Silverkit to stay with another queen for most of the day and only go to his mother's nest to sleep and feed. It was in this way that the tom grew up with two families and very greatly enjoyed his kitood. One mother gave wisdom and comfort while the other taught him about rules and honor and how to act around other cats. Both fathers found the situation rather amusing and agreed that the younger of the two toms would act as father while the other acted as a grand parent of sorts. Very little happened during Silverstorm's kithood and the experiences of his youngest memories were mostly good ones typical to young cats.
Silverstorm's apprenticeship was not so kind to the gentle tom as his kithood had been. Given a rather strict warrior who wasn't so fond of training such a thin kit, Silverpaw was pushed hard and trained to his very limits in order to 'catch up' in the words of his mentor. It didn't take long for his stubbornness and dedication to impress the warrior training him and training began to ease up slightly as Silver proved over and over that he was a capable young tom despite his thin frame. Saddly, Silverpaw saw his elderly mother make the journey to Starclan around the time he turned 8 moons old and the energetic tom's progress began to slow while he mourned the loss of one of his parents. It was sad and painfully unfortunate when Silver's elderly father also joined Starclan the day before the young tom's warrior ceremony. He was very thankful for the support of his younger set of parents during that time and soon over came his sadness.
Life as a warrior started roughly with Silverstorm's father passing, but it quickly evened out into the mundane and every-day tasks that every warrior had to deal with. Even with how aggressive the clans were toward each other, the young warrior lived a mostly uneventful warrior life. With threats of death for crossing boarders from all sides, skirmishes were rare and prey stealing even more so. It was during his time as a warrior that Silverstorm discovered his love for flirting and the handsome young male hasn't stopped chasing the she-cats' tails ever since.
While the previous leader's death was a sad affair for the entire clan, Silverstorm was honored beyond anything to be chosen as the deputy. He proudly took the position and has served his clan faithfully ever since. Very little has happened since Frozenstar took up leadership, and Silverstorm is more than happy for uneventful times.
quick note: I think I remember I used to play Ravenfeather here. God that was a long time ago. Do you remember when everyone's names got changed to Harry Potter puns? Was it you or Saola who had the Voldemort name? Gosh I missed this place.
